We are seeking a creative, forward-thinking Digital Media and Digital Art Teacher to inspire high school students through visual storytelling, design, and emerging media. This position focuses on developing students’ artistic skills while preparing them to think critically, communicate effectively, and use digital tools responsibly in an ever-evolving media landscape.

The Digital Media and Digital Art Teacher will design and deliver engaging instruction in areas such as digital illustration,  graphic design, photography, video production, animation, and multimedia projects. The ideal candidate encourages creativity, experimentation, and problem-solving while helping students build strong portfolios and technical skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching courses in digital art, digital media, and related visual arts disciplines
• Developing curriculum aligned with state standards and school goals
• Instructing students in industry-standard software and digital tools
• Encouraging creative expression while emphasizing design principles and visual literacy
• Assessing student work and providing meaningful feedback
• Supporting student projects, exhibitions, and collaborative work
• Maintaining a positive, inclusive, and well-organized classroom environment
• Collaborating with colleagues and participating in school events and professional development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Digital Art, Graphic Design, Media Arts, Art Education, or a related field
• Experience with digital media software and creative technologies
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working with adolescents
• Commitment to fostering creativity, innovation, and academic growth
